Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Pedrock LLC ("we", "us"), which runs Samedoc at samedoc.app. By using Samedoc you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What Samedoc does

Samedoc translates documents you upload (PDFs and images) into another language and rebuilds them in a similar layout. Translations are produced automatically with the help of AI models.

2. Not a certified translation

Samedoc produces machine translations. They are not certified, sworn or notarized translations, and they are not legal, financial or professional advice. Translations can contain mistakes. Check the result before relying on it, and use a certified translator wherever an authority requires one.

3. Your documents

• You keep all rights to the documents you upload and to the translations we return to you.
• You give us permission to process your documents only to provide the service (reading, translating, rebuilding and showing you the result), including through the service providers named in our privacy policy.
• You confirm you have the right to upload each document and to have it translated.
• Files are deleted within 24 hours. Download your result before then.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Samedoc to upload anything illegal, to infringe anyone's rights, to forge or alter official documents, to attack or overload the service, or to get around its limits. We may limit or block use that breaks these rules or puts the service at risk.

5. Free use and limits

Samedoc is free during its preview, with limits on pages per file and translations per visitor and per day. Some models, such as Samedoc PDF 1 Pro, are only on paid plans. We may change the limits, the models and the features at any time. If we introduce paid plans, prices and payment terms will be shown before you pay.

6. No warranty

Samedoc is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Pedrock LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on a translation. Our total liability for any claim related to Samedoc is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.

8. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and using Samedoc after a change means you accept it. You can stop using Samedoc at any time. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, at any time.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Pedrock LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you rights that can't be waived.
