These rules go to the translation engine when you upload a birth certificate, on top of the general rules for Israeli documents.
- Spell parents' names exactly as in their passports.
- Write the city in its official English form (e.g. Tel Aviv-Yafo) and transliterate the hospital name.
- Keep the Hebrew-calendar birth date with the Gregorian date in brackets.
- Keep both the registration date and the issue date; they are different.

Apostille and validity
Public document: can be apostilled in Israel. Foreign authorities often want a certified or sworn translation of it.
Some authorities want a copy issued within the last 6 months.
Samedoc gives you an English copy in the original layout. You're responsible for checking it before you submit it, and a professional manual review is available at extra cost. Where an authority requires a certified or sworn translation, a qualified translator signs it; the Samedoc copy gives them a ready draft. Check the official source for your destination.
